Breeding Milestones Correspond with Changes to Wheat Rhizosphere Biogeochemistry That Affect P Acquisition

چکیده

Breeding wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) has resulted in small gains improved nutrient acquisition and use as numerous traits are involved. In this study, we evaluated the impact of breeding on P-acquisition identified both plant soil variables that could be used to inform selection germplasm with increased P efficiency. We previously screened a historic panel winter cultivars for root system architecture tip organic acid content when grown P-deficient solution/agar these characteristics together history develop predicted extraction potential (PEP). tested validity PEP classification by growing under sufficient insufficient conditions. Old, wild-type had greatest utilization efficiency (PUtE) P, likely result chemical (with respect Rht-B1) (greater production) rather than size. Wild-type plants differences rhizosphere microbial community structure, bicarbonate-extractable bulk Fe Al, indicating typically less available pools. The based presence dwarfing allele era release offers path forward acquisition.

Population Protocols that Correspond to Symmetric Games

Population protocols have been introduced by Angluin et al. as a model of networks consisting of very limited mobile agents that interact in pairs but with no control over their own movement. A collection of anonymous agents, modeled by finite automata, interact pairwise according to some rules that update their states. The model has been considered as a computational model in several papers. I...

Finding Patterns that Correspond to Episodes

We present two algorithms for elucidating structures in time series. These are unsupervised algorithms; they discover patterns without any knowledge about the episodic structures in the time series data. Yet, these patterns correspond with episodes, at least in an experiment with data from robot episodes. We offer a preliminary explanation for this result based on the idea that episodes persist...

Changes in populations of rhizosphere bacteria associated with take-all disease of wheat.

Take-all, caused by Gaeumannomyces graminis var. tritici, is one of the most important fungal diseases of wheat worldwide. Knowing that microbe-based suppression of the disease occurs in monoculture wheat fields following severe outbreaks of take-all, we analyzed the changes in rhizosphere bacterial communities following infection by the take-all pathogen. Several bacterial populations were mor...

Evolution of the Crop Rhizosphere: Impact of Domestication on Root Exudates in Tetraploid Wheat (Triticum turgidum L.)

Domestication has induced major genetic changes in crop plants to satisfy human needs and as a consequence of adaptation to agroecosystems. This adaptation might have affected root exudate composition, which can influence the interactions in the rhizosphere. Here, using two different soil types (sand, soil), we provide an original example of the impact of domestication and crop evolution on roo...
